I just realized that there is a typo in the title of this blog -- what on earth is a ladybig and why didn't spellcheck pick it up?
Kind of the story of my life; I realize that things happen in retrospect, not at the moment of the incident's occurrence. I have a delayed reaction to everything -- almost as though the unpacking of a moment carries more meaning for me than the actual moment.
I try to live in the moment but I enjoy soaking up the experiences that become so much richer with reflection.
This Labor Day was especially rich -- morning chat with the lovely Sr. Maria de Jesus, lunch with my beloved friend, Isabel, and her beautiful child, Monica, an evening visit from my precious little sister and godchild, Edy. A day filled with reflection of the blessings of living in this time and space and of celebration of the love that carries us along the road of life.
Just drifting along, carried by the wind that blows, feeling united with special souls and sharing the benefits of those who were carried by similar winds throughout history. Nothing more, nothing less. It is sufficient for the day.
